120 coronavirus carriers identified in Albania per day


The Albanian Ministry of Health on Saturday, August 1, reported that over the past 24 hours, a survey of 510 people in the country revealed 120 new cases of coronavirus infection. At the same time, another 9 people were recognized as cured. This was reported by the Albanian news agency Telegrafi. A total of 5,396 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Albania. 2,961 people have already been cured of COVID-19. 161 patients died from complications caused by COVID-19. The largest number of active infections is in Tirana (1251), Durres (277), Shkodra (211) and Vlora (95). There are 119 people on inpatient treatment, of which 18 are undergoing intensive therapy, and six are connected to IVL devices.
