French President delivers speech to parliamentarians
French President Emmanuel Macron went to the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations to motivate majority parliamentarians for the last 600 days of a five-year presidential term, BFM TV reports. The head of state sent a message to the parliamentary majority on mobilization and paid tribute to it, noting that it withstood during the health crisis. We have 600 days ahead of us. I need you. Our agenda has been fulfilled. We need concrete results to make this happen. What we are doing is becoming a reality, the president noted. We have no right to rest. In the situation in which the country is located, we must defeat these circumstances and look at the country as it is, and at the same time remain faithful to who we are, the head of state said in front of about 200 deputies and senators. We must restore order, Emmanuel Macron emphasized, adding that the country expects this from us: unity, responsibility, ambition and solidarity. According to the news agency, earlier the French president announced compensation in the amount of 10 million euros, intended for the national police forces mobilized at night.
