Kia Seltos bypassed Hyundai Creta sales on China market

In April 2020, dealers of the South Korean company Kia in China sold 7.6 thousand copies of Kia KX3, which in Russia is known as Kia Seltos. This is reported on the NJcar.ru portal. At the same time, sales of the updated Hyundai Creta model (ix25) were much lower in China. Only 4,000 units of this model were sold. Externally, the Kia KX3 is almost the same as the Kia Seltos, presented on the Russian market. Everything is different inside the machines. The interior KX3 for the car market of the Black Sea goes with other finishing materials, and the front panel is combined with a multimedia screen measuring 10.25 inches. The Chinese version of Seltos is equipped with a 1.5-litre atmospheric with a capacity of 115 hp, which is aggregated with a six-speed manual transmission or with a CVT variator. We remind that KIA Seltos/KX3 is the main competitor of Hyundai Creta. Both models are produced on the same platform.
