Third passenger of Diamond Princess liner died of coronavirus


The third passenger of the cruise ship Diamond Princess died in hospital in Japan. This is reported by NHK on February 23 with reference to the Ministry of Health of Japan. According to preliminary data, the third deceased was an 80-year-old man who was quarantined and treated in hospital. At the moment, it is not known exactly which country the deceased passenger of the ship is a citizen of. To date, 634 passengers and crew members of the cruise ship have been confirmed with coronavirus. Earlier, the news agency reported the death of two passengers of the Diamond Princess liner from coronavirus. Both victims of the disease, a man and a woman, were more than 80 years old.
