The US has stopped issuing visas in China

The U.S. authorities suspended the issuance of visas in the People's Republic of China due to the spread of coronavirus 2019- nCoV. This was announced today, February 9, by the press service of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. Since February 10, the provision of visa services by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, as well as the General Consulates in Chendu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenyang has been suspended, the message reads. Such a measure is taken because of the spread of coronavirus in China. Most of the U.S. diplomatic mission personnel were evacuated from that country. Recall that the U.S. authorities have imposed restrictions on American citizens and a total ban on entry for foreigners who have visited China in the last 14 days since February 2. It's related to coronavirus infection.
