SpaceX rescheduled Starlink satellite package launch
The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with a package of 60 Starlink satellites was postponed from February 16 to February 17, the press service of the American company SpaceX reports. Initially, SpaceX planned to launch another telecommunications satellite package from a launch site in Florida on February 15. The launch was postponed for 24 hours due to unfavourable weather conditions. The SpaceX noted that the next transfer is related to the need for additional verification of the components of the second stage of the launch vehicle. Recall, the SpaceX forms an orbital group Starlink to provide broadband Internet access services. The first two experimental satellites were launched into orbit in February 2018. The SpaceX subsequently launched four Falcon 9 launch vehicles with packages of 60 satellites. By the mid-2020s, the American company expects to increase the Starlink constellation to 12,000 satellites.
